Gam7 (wheat in Eng) is an underground collective that sprouted in 2009. Initiated by rappers, it quickly became a rallying point for various multidisciplinary artists due to its street credibility. Rappers, graffiti artists, dancers, photographers, videographers… about twenty artists swiftly joined the cause at its inception during the tunisian revolution in 2010-2011

For Gam7, the talent of Tunisia’s youth is akin to wheat growing through the cracks of concrete. The beginning may be challenging, but with ample love, attention, and encouragement, we believe that young urban artists can thrive and flourish in the urban jungle.

In its 13 years of existence, Gam7 has succeeded in uniting multiple talents, nurturing others, and, without any pretense, transforming lives.

Established in May 2016, the Culture Association is the natural and official successor of the Gam7 collective. The association mobilizes young artists for the promotion and defense of Human Rights through its contribution to the local cultural life. In 2021, the association was legally registered and entered into a strategic partnership with the Tunisian Association for Cultural and Artistic Development to further enrich its programs under our auspices.
